 A Few of My Projects

About the Project: Pacific 19 is a boutique hotel that not only offers luxurious accommodations but also serves as a gateway for adventurous travellers to unlock the very best experiences on Kona and Hawaii Island. I had the privilege of overseeing this exciting venture in my role as a project manager with Wallop. This web project was a fascinating journey.

My Role: Project Manager (Wallop)

My Contribution:

  • Pacific 19's vision was to create a web experience inspired by the grandeur of the Pacific Ocean. I collaborated closely with the design team to bring this vision to life.

  • We prioritized customization, especially for the experience and activities pages, to create a blog-like ambiance celebrating local creators and culture. Notable examples of our detailed design approach can be found on these pages: https://www.pacific19.com/kona/field-notes/kekaha-kai-state-park and https://www.pacific19.com/experiences/hidden-craters-hike-hualalai.

  • To accommodate the client's future expansion plans and the addition of more properties to their portfolio, we engineered a scalable solution. This scalable solution offers extensive module customization to adapt to their evolving needs.

  • I maintained a strong focus on project timeliness and cost management throughout the project.

  • Additionally, I worked on refining our project management processes to ensure the project's successful delivery.

 AR Exhibits for KPMG

About the Project:
This project is an augmented reality experience that immerses the visitors of the KPMG Ignition Centre in comprehending 17 Sustainable goals through 3D models, images, videos and physical exhibits. Using their mobile phone, users can walk around and explore the tiles throughout the office while learning more about KPMG's take on the Sustainable Development Goals.

My Role: Product Lead and Project Support

My Contribution:

  • Handled the product and project management responsibilities to ensure we followed project milestones to deliver the final prototype efficiently.

  • Focused on the project from a product management perspective, created and managed project backlog, and concentrated that the project was on the right track by asking relevant questions to the team and the client.

  • Contributed to and reviewed various documentation like project and team charter for the final delivery.

  • Accomplished the process documentation in detail to showcase the workflow.

  • Brainstormed with the team to ensure that the client was aligned with our vision and understood the development process.

  • Ensured we had smooth and meaningful client communication.

A Web Platform for Artists

About the Project:
Wagmint is a prototype for a web application for Tafi that makes it easier for artists to create and sell NFTs. Although platforms like Opensea make it easy for anyone to create NFTs (except for the high gas fees), selling NFTs and building an individual brand are still difficult for most artists. Wagmint primarily aims to fill this gap by having to sell NFT without a gas fee and through community features that help artists promote their art, discover art from other artists, and also get rewards for engaging with the community through DAO and other features.

My Role: Project Lead and Product Support

My Contribution:

  • Ensured that the Agile Product Management Principles were at the core of this project.

  • Spearheaded extensive research into Blockchain, NFTs and DAOs ecosystem.

  • Focused on User-Centric Design to understand the challenges faced by artists in the current environment.

  • Spearheaded comprehension of business workflows along with the UX team to design information architecture and user journey.

  • Collaborated with Tech, and UX Team to build product vision and effectively manage the product backlog.

  • Led the product vision through feature prioritization for the prototype to meet Tafi's brand guidelines and user expectations.

  • Led the final documentation which included the prototyping process, technical implementation of community integration with other platforms like Twitter and future extension details for the project like DAO (suggested setup and regulations).

Game for Kids to Teach Recycling

About the Project:

We were given a theme of sustainability. We researched this topic in detail and discussed sustainability issues like clean energy, space pollution, plastic pollution, alternate energy and more. We decided to focus on the subject of the sustainable future of marine life. We determined that we want to educate the upcoming generations about the relevance of recycling, reducing and reusing plastic to create a culture that can drive sustainability through a game. This game focused on training the kids about all the critical steps for building good recycling habits.

My Role: Project Manager and Product Support

My Contribution:

  • Implemented the Agile framework to deliver the project within the given timeframe.

  • Contributed to and ensured productive brainstorming sessions and research.

  • Spearheaded the Design Thinking Philosophy by using the design principles like Human, Ambiguity, and Tangibility rules.

  • Collaborated with Tech, UX and Design Team to build product vision and effectively manage the product backlog.

  • Participated and contributed to user-testing and product refinement exercises.

  • Build the final documentation with marketing, monetization and future extension details for the project.

Game Design Concept

About the Project:

Dream Land: Dream, Listen, Seek.
We were given a theme for developing a game concept to understand game design. Our solution was a unique audio-based exploration game where the player finds the lost world in the dreams using the power of sounds.
In this game, users encounter an audio sensory experience in a 3D environment while finding their lost world. This first-person expedition will explore locating the animals, objects, and people by concentrating on their sounds.

My Role: Project Manager and Product Support

Sustainable Fashion (Persuasive Product Design)

About the project:
While learning about digital persuasion and behavioural change, we were to pick a brief and design a digital solution while implementing the learnings from the subjects.
I worked on the 'Do The Green Thing,' brief as I have always been keen on empowering the younger generation to make better choices for themselves and the world around them. The solution I pitched were built on EAST (Easy, Attractive, Social and Timely) and BMAT (Behaviour=Motivation + Ability + Trigger) frameworks.

My Role: Individual Project
